Fell View is a beautifully renovated holiday home that can accommodate up to 6 guests. With its stylish interiors, it offers a perfect space for relaxation and enjoyment. The terraced rear lawned garden provides a lovely spot for lounging and dining, with a BBQ available for those who want to indulge in some outdoor cooking. For those seeking a peaceful retreat, there is also a quiet reading area. Additionally, the decked patio at the front of the property offers a wonderful setting to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the breathtaking sunset over the stunning Lake District fells.

Perched on the hillside overlooking Penrith, this attractive holiday home offers breathtaking views of the fells. Moving upstairs, you will find three beautiful bedrooms, a family bathroom and a separate tiled shower room which adds an extra touch of luxury to the upper level.

Closer to home for the children and the dogs, to the rear of the house, there's a large grass public playing field with separate children's play park for up to age 12yrs, ideal for exercising the dog, playing cricket/football; access is through a gate from the rear garden. There is an abundance of maps that are available to borrow.

Location

Fell View is located on the northern outskirts of Penrith, Cumbria, and overlooks the northern fells of the Lake District.

By road, it can be accessed from either junction 40 or 41 of the M6 motorway, or at the intersection of A6, A66 and A686.

By rail, Penrith (North Lakes) station is on the main London to Scotland West Coast Rail Line. (15 minutes 2.8 miles walking to Fell View). A taxi service is available at most times.

  • Living area: Two two-seat sofas. Patio doors lead to the front decking. Freeview Smart TV, a Dab radio.

  • Dining area: Large oval table with six chairs. Electric wood-fire-effect stove. Hampers containing books, maps, games and jigsaws.

  • Kitchen area: Split-level oven and an electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster. Plenty of pots and pans, crockery etc. double socket with a charging point. The rear door leads to the outside utility room, patio area and garden.

  • Entrance hall with WC and sink.

    First Floor:

    Bedroom 1: A double bed, chest of drawers, hairdryer, bedside tables and lamps, and wardrobe.

  • Bedroom 2: A twin with two single beds, chest of drawers, hanging rail, bedside table with lamp.

  • Bedroom 3: One single bed. Chest of drawers and wardrobe.

  • The bathroom is light and bright, with a shower over the bath, a toilet, a basin, and a heated towel rail.

  • Separate tiled Shower room with a walk-in shower, a basin, and a heated towel rail.

  • 3 Bedroomed House, split over two floors.

  • Gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, a hairdryer, and WiFi are all included

  • A travel cot (but not mattress or linen) and highchair are available on request.

  • Rear garden has a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, and a hanging rack for wet walking gear and boots. Dog towels and bowls are provided.

  • Private parking for one car. Additional unrestricted street parking for 2/3 cars

  • Secure cycle storage can be arranged.

  • International electrical sockets in each bedroom with USB charging facility.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property.

  • 4 dogs are permitted but with the owner's prior agreement. If bringing dogs we can arrange dog care at an extra charge and with reasonable notice.

  • While dogs are welcome, they are not permitted upstairs, and if your dog is used to sitting with you on the sofa, please bring your own throws. Dogs must not be left on the property unattended.

  • Two outside taps: one cold for boots and bikes, and one warm for washing muddy dogs.

  • NOTE: Children and toddlers must be supervised in the garden due to the 18" terrace levels.
