Fell View

Such a fantastic place to stay! The owners of Fell view made us feel very welcome and were really helpful. The accommodation has been beautifully renovated throughout, nicely furnished and decorated. It was well equipped, the kitchen was great and had everything we needed. On an evening, it felt very cosy and the extra touches such as complimentary slippers, and a snack basket in the kitchen with biscuits and other edibles were an extra bonus. The location was great and the views were amazing. There was plenty of free parking (on a driveway and street parking). Although we didn't sit out in the garden during our visit, this has been landscaped well with an area to relax and sunbathe on warmer days. It was only a few minutes drive into Penrith (about a 10 minute walk) where there are plenty of shops and cafes. During our visit, we went to Ullswater which was a 15 minute drive away. Would highly recommend this accommodation and I would definitely book to stay at Fell View again.

Fell View

Linda and Martin were incredibly considerate and communicative from booking to cottage to arriving on the day. They made the house lovely and warm and showed us all the amenities we needed. The house has wonderful views over looking Penrith and it’s a short walk to the centre where there are lots of pubs and shops to go and see and have a drink in! The house was immaculate when we arrived and suited what we were looking for on New Year’s Eve. We also have some great views of the fireworks.

A relaxing stay at Fell View over the Christmas period. Well equipped house which has been newly renovated to a high standard. Nice views over the valley and a great location to quickly get into town and onto the main roads for exploring. The owners who live nearby were helpful in answering any questions we had. Certainly would choose to stay again. Thanks!

The Apartment is in a stunning location with breathtaking views. We had everything we needed plus more. Linda and Martin were lovely hosts. It was a huge advantage to have two toilets and bathrooms. The property is very pet friendly and has a wonderful Garden with access to the park behind. The rooms were very neat and clean and comfortable beds.

We had a lovely new year break at Fell View. Locaion was great up on the hill, with views (when it stopped raining) to the Lakes. Keswick is about 30mins away which was ideal. The owners couldn't do enough for us, and were extremely helpful when our car broke down on the last day. Even giving us a lift into town to a carhire company. Would definitely recommend!!
